An Interview (a very exciting one – #promise) with the awesomeness that is Kirsty (!!!)

I’m obviously not squealing with excitement right now! *laughs nervously* I MEAN WHO WOULD BE?

That would just be VERY awkward and silly. SQUEALING with excitement over the most awaited and fabulous interviews of like ever with a blogger your respect and admire so much? OBVIOUSLY NOT SOMETHING TO BE SQUEALING OVER!

Now that very awkward intro is over, I’d like to dive straight into the wonderful, awesome thing happening today and let Kirsty wow you with her awesomeness in this interview!

Well, HELLO KIRSTY. Welcome to my humble (*laughs*) little blog! I’m not very good introductions so…

1. Would you so kindly do the honour of introducing yourself?

Hey! My name is Kirsty. I’m a first-year university student studying psychology, but more importantly, a massive bookworm! I love reading YA even though I’m supposed to be an ‘adult’ now…but let’s be honest I’m very far from it ๐Ÿ˜‚

2. If you could travel to one world from a book, which would it be?

I’m sure this is the most unoriginal answer I could give but it’s the truth. HOGWARTS. Harry Potter is one of my favourite books of all time. I’m getting so excited even thinking about being there!๐Ÿ˜‚ My real-life dream is to go to Universal studios in America but it’s soooooo expensive *cries*

3. If you could meet one book blogger friend in real life, who would it be?

YOU MAHRIYA!!! Honestly, I haven’t interacted with a lot of book bloggers outside of comments but you’ve been so lovely and friendly!!

4. Perks of being a book blogger?

Ooh, I think it has to be the community. I just feel like everyone is so helpful and supportive. When I first started blogging I had no idea what I was doing and so many people gave me amazing advice. Plus I don’t have people in my ‘real’ life who love books like I do so it’s so nice being able to fangirl with other people who get it.

5.The Upsides of being KIRSTY? And to spice things up, as a little blogger? SHARE YOU EXPERIENCE!(was I horrible or a good big blogger?)

The upsides of being me…well I’m a student so I get a student loan, that’s pretty good! Plus I now have my very own house which is really exciting for me! As for my experience as a little blogger, it was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better big blogger! Mahriya has commented on all my posts and interacted with me so much. I’ve been very absent from the blogging community recently with working full time and moving house and having no internet, but she’s been so patient with me! Thank you so much โค๏ธ

6. Books you will always fangirl over are…

Harry Potter (obviously), skullduggery pleasant (an old favourite of mine that I need to carry on reading) and the upside of unrequited (God I loved that book).

7. ARE YOU A WRITER? I need to know.

No, unfortunately, I’m not a writer. It’s not that I don’t want to. I’ve actually thought about it a few times but firstly, I have no ideas, like zero. Plus I just can’t find the time to sit down and try ๐Ÿ˜ฉIt’s something I’m not ruling out though, if sudden inspiration hits me I’d definitely give it a go!

8. Your favourite word?

8) Your favourite word? – okay, this is going to need some explanation but ‘little’ is my favourite word. Purely because I love how it looks when I write it. I join my writing up so all the letters in little are tall and they just look really good.๐Ÿ˜‚

9. If you could meet any author, who you would you meet up with?

I don’t want to sound repetitive here but of course JK. Rowling, I have a million questions I would ask her!

10. What are some of your blogging #goals?

i really want to converse more with my followers and people I follow. Even though I’ve talked with a lot of amazing bloggers in comments it never really goes beyond that and I feel like I could try harder to get to know people more!

To Be or Not To Be –>

Nope, I cannot choose. Do not make me. I’m going to be defiant and refuse to answer…

Contemporary all the way for me! I really enjoy fantasy but I just find myself gravitating towards contemporary way more.

Reading, as I said earlier I love the idea of writing but actually doing it is something else entirely๐Ÿ˜‚, I’m not sure I’m creative enough to write…

Blogging, I love twitter but honestly, I just forget to go on it…I always think oh I should tweet more. So then I do for a day but it never lasts!

I’m not sure I understand,๐Ÿ˜‚ I am both….

What we can conclude is that

  • Kirsty is massive HP fan
  • she is very awesome
  • for some reason, she likes my blog and I????
  • she is such a rebel because contemporary and not answering my question
  • i love her blog

Kirsty blogs @ Kirsty Chronicles with loads of discussions, book reviews and exciting updates. She has a fabulous design as well as a beautiful writing style. She posts lots of bookish contents regularly so be sure to follow!

FAREWELL KIRSTY! *wipes tears* Well now that that’s over, I want to thank Mikaela @ The Well thumbed reader (whose blog has infinitely amazing posts. Seriously, she just keep spurting all these fabulous discussions and I’M JUST HERE WITH MY FLAILING COMMENTS) who started this Project Big Blogger, Little Blogger to help bring the community together, and heal that gap between popular bloggers and newbies! This project has done exactly that and MORE. It’s been so wonderful, discovering new blogs and just generally seeing so much support!

It’s been a wonderful experience! I’m sad this project is ending but also SUPER surprised that I’m a big blogger? I think it goes to show that followers don’t really count. I’ve got 900+ followers yet KIRSTY’s blog is WAYYY better than mine! So definitely go check it out and fall in love like I did. I have no regrets.

So, that concludes the most exciting interview of ever! Do you love Kirsty’s blog?! Did you participate in Project Big Blogger, Little Blogger? Link me to that post you did showing appreciation to your Little Blogger! DID YOU LOVE THIS INTERVIEW (you better have)?and did I fulfil my promise of this being insanely exciting!

  1. #HARRYPOTTER!!! I’m going to Universal in October. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’M SO EXCITED OMG. DUDE FOOD OR BOOKS??? How evil are you Mahriya. Like no. Stop.

And yes!!! I want to meet Mahriya too!!! (Dude who am I supposed to address this comment to.) She’s so great and amazing and I probably would flail if I saw her irl??? BUT I STILL WANT TO MEET HER.

And Kirsty — that “little” thing is so cool! I just tried it. XD My favorite word is “obviously”. There’s something about the “vious” and “ly” part that I looooove. XD

DUDE I WAS SURPRISED I WAS A BIG BLOGGER TOO!!! Especially since I’m pretty much still a newbie blogger. XD Kirsty should be a big blogger as well — her blog is so amazing! (And so is yours, Mahriya, don’t beat down on yourself! โค )

ALSO KIRSTY YOU GOT A NEW HOUSE??? CONGRATS! THAT'S SO SCARY BUT ALSO AMAZING! ๐ŸŽ‰ And I hope you find some inspiration to write soon; I'm sure you'd be a great writer. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • AHHH, you’re so lucky to be going to HP Universal Studios! I SO WANT TO GO but umm…I kinda live in the UK?! I am obviously so evil! I mean the correct answer would have been that food and books are the same thing, and pick one of them, since it would mean picking both of them BUT LET’S NOT DELVE INTO THE TECHNICALITIES OF THAT QUESTION!

if you met me, you’d probably just die. 1)I’m so awesome 2)I’d kill you first 3)JUST KIDDING, I’d probably be reading so I’ll leave you to flail 4) NO NO OF COURSE WE’D CHAT AND ALL (If I learn hot socialise in time and all)

ALL good blogs should be big bloggers. And blogs like mine…should definitely be little bloggers!
